They cover domestic and commercial wiring, electrical testing and certification, and the renewable side of the trade – solar PV, battery storage and EV charger installations. When they came to us, they had outgrown the website they had.
Challenge
JME Energy approached us with a clear objective: to elevate their online presence. Their existing website, built on Wix, lacked the functionality and design required to support their growing business and advertising needs. They needed a robust WordPress site that could handle Google AdWords campaigns effectively while showcasing their wide range of electrician services and project case studies.
The Approach
A website that exists to feed paid advertising has a different job from one that simply sits there. Every pound JME put into Google had to land somewhere that made the next step obvious – so we started with what the site had to do, not with how it should look.
That meant talking about the business before the design. Which work did they want more of? Who did they want to hear from? What does a good enquiry actually look like for an electrician? Wix was not the villain here; the problem was that JME had outgrown what it would let them change. Moving to WordPress was the means, not the point.
We also built for the business they were becoming rather than the one on the page that week. New services get added. Jobs worth showing off get finished. So the structure needed room for both – service pages that could multiply and a case studies section they could keep filling themselves, without coming back to us for a rebuild every time something changed.
Solution
We began by transitioning their website to WordPress, creating a solid foundation for scalability and SEO optimisation. Our team worked closely with JME Energy to understand their brand and business goals, crafting a design that was not only visually appealing but also strategically structured to drive conversions.
To highlight their expertise, we developed dedicated service pages for their various electrician offerings and incorporated a dynamic case studies section. This allowed JME Energy to showcase their successful projects, building trust and credibility with potential clients.
