Web design with an IT company behind it
Most websites are built by people you never hear from again. The site goes live, the invoice clears, and a year later nobody can remember who holds the login.
We design and build business websites – and then we keep looking after them, because we’re the same team that hosts your site, patches it and picks up the phone when something’s wrong.
Most sites go live in 4–12 weeks. The first conversation costs nothing.
A website can look smart and still do nothing for you
Plenty of businesses spend real money on a site, love how it looks, and then wait for enquiries that never arrive. The design was never the issue. Nobody could find it, nobody knew what to do when they got there, and it fell apart on a phone.
A website earns its keep or it doesn’t. Yours should bring you work – turn up in search, load without a wait, make sense on a small screen, and point people at the one thing you want them to do next.
That’s the brief we build to. Everything else is decoration.
What we build
Designed for you, not picked off a shelf
Every site is drawn from scratch around your business, your customers and the way you actually sell. No template with your logo dropped in the corner.
Right on every screen
Phone, tablet, laptop, the big monitor in reception. Fully responsive, checked on real devices, because most of your visitors are holding a phone.
Built to be found
Clean code, proper heading structure, sensible internal linking and page structures built around the words people actually search for – in from the start, not bolted on afterwards.
Layouts that lead somewhere
We map the route from landing on a page to picking up the phone, then design that route. People shouldn’t have to hunt for what you do.
Written to turn visitors into enquiries
Every page has a job and a next step. Clear calls to action, no dead ends, nobody reading three paragraphs to find out whether you cover their area.
WordPress and online shops
Most business sites we build run on WordPress, so you can edit them yourself. If you’re selling online, we build the shop too.
Where most websites go wrong
We get called in to rescue a lot of sites. It’s nearly always one of these five.
It’s slow. Bloated code, oversized images, a stack of plugins doing very little. People give up before the page finishes.
It falls apart on a phone. Text you have to pinch to read, buttons you can’t hit, a menu that hides everything.
Nobody’s told the visitor what to do. No clear next step, or a “Contact” link buried in the footer and nothing else.
The foundations aren’t there for search. Thin page structure, duplicated titles, headings used for styling rather than meaning.
You can’t find anything. Navigation that made sense to whoever built it, and to nobody since.
None of these are design faults exactly. They’re what happens when design, build and search get treated as three separate jobs by three separate people.
Web design built to be found
We don’t hand a finished site to someone else afterwards and hope search sorts itself out. It comes into the room on day one, because that’s cheaper and it works better.
In practice that means page structures built around real search terms, pages that load quickly, clean and readable code, a proper heading hierarchy, and internal links that join your pages up so search engines can follow them.
The point isn’t just to be visible. It’s to be visible and worth clicking when somebody in Poole types what they need into Google.
What happens after it goes live
This is the part that separates us from an agency, and it’s why a lot of our clients came to us in the first place.
We maintain it
Updates, plugin versions, certificates, backups and the small fixes that pile up when nobody’s watching.
Website MaintenanceWe answer the phone
Same team, same number, whether it’s the website, your email or a laptop that won’t start. Nobody spends a week working out whose fault it is. You ring 01202 237 273 and it gets sorted.
Web design across Dorset and the South Coast
We work with businesses in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Southampton, and across Dorset and the South Coast more widely. Local matters more than people expect – we know the markets you’re competing in, and we can sit in your office when that’s quicker than a call.

Who this is for
You're launching something new
And you need a site that does more than exist.
Your current site is letting you down
Dated, slow, or embarrassing to send people to.
You're invisible in search
You’re not showing up, and nobody’s told you why.
Visitors arrive and nothing happens
The site gets traffic and almost none of them get in touch.
Working with us
If none of those sound like you, your site is probably fine. We’ll tell you that.
We’re an IT company that builds websites, not a design studio that also dabbles in IT. That changes how the work goes: we care as much about how the site behaves in eighteen months as how it looks on launch day.
Our team is based in Bournemouth. You get named people who know your business, rather than a ticket number and a different account manager every quarter.
And we’ll be straight with you about what you need. If a tidy-up of the site you’ve already got would get you most of the way, we’ll say so instead of quoting for a rebuild.
Starting a project
1. Tell us what the site needs to do
Not what it should look like – what you want it to bring in. Enquiries, bookings, sales, applications. Twenty minutes on the phone or in your office.
2. We plan it, then build it
Structure, pages and search terms first, then the design, then the build. You see it and shape it as it goes, so there’s no big reveal at the end that nobody expected.
3. It goes live and stays looked after
We launch it, check every page, and keep it hosted, updated and protected from then on.

Common questions
The things people ask before they commit – timescales, investment, and what happens to the site they’ve already got.
Anything we haven’t covered, just ask. No obligation to take it any further.
How much does web design cost in the UK?
It varies with complexity, features and how much design work is involved – a five-page brochure site and a shop with a thousand products aren’t the same job. We’ll give you a figure before you commit to anything, not a range that doubles later.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most sites take between 4 and 12 weeks, depending on scope. The thing that usually sets the pace is content – copy, photos and product details. We’ll tell you what we need and when we need it.
Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Yes. Every site we build is fully responsive, and checked on real phones and tablets before it goes anywhere near live.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. We often improve the design, the speed and the search foundations of a site that’s basically sound. If a rebuild genuinely is the better call, we’ll explain why.
Do I need SEO as well?
Yes, if you want people to find you. Without it a website is a business card you have to hand out yourself. Search is built into how we structure the site; ongoing SEO work is a separate conversation.
Do you provide ongoing support?
Yes – hosting, updates and continuing improvements to the site. Plenty of clients take the website and nothing else, and that’s fine too.
